Pure Gold managed to pick up Best Horror / Suspense at Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival 2022. Comic-Con took place in San Diego California from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th July. The popular arts festival attracts over 130,000 people. Pure Gold screened to an audience of enthusiastic genre film fans on Saturday July 23rd. The film was well received by the audience and jury and picked up the Best Horror / Suspense award. The Jury consisted of television creature and concept designer Neville Page, actor/comedian/writer/producer Bobby Herbeck, and host/journalist/film critic Grae Drake
